Metro Wellness and Personalized Care
Provided by Trinity Healthcare

Our Story
Welcome to Trinity Healthcare! We are a very unique Family Medicine clinic and this is important because each and everyone who sees us is a unique individual and needs to be treated as such. We have come to a place in our "modern" healthcare system where everyone is a number and we all get treated the same. That would be great if God took the easy way and cookie cuttered each of us but he didn't. There are approximately 70,368,744,177,664 possible combinations of genetic allele(traits) that can occur in people and according to best guesses there have only been 117 billion people that have ever lived.
That makes each of us pretty unique!

Our goal is to help you achieve the best possible health you can and we feel the best way to do this is to truly understand who you are and what makes you tick. We are not here to steal you from your primary care provider(PCPs). Unfortunately, with the way healthcare has progressed, PCPs don't get the chance to spend as much time as they would like to with their patients. We are here to help them since we are all on the same team with the same goal-your health! If you do not have a PCP or are just looking for a change, we are happy to serve in that function for you.

Meet The Team

Angie Abraham
Angie Abraham was born in Springfield, MO and attended Missouri State University where she studied Psychology & Criminal Justice. After a few years in Human Resources with Mercy, she obtained her Master's degree in Business Administration. She then moved into the recruitment world at Mercy where she headed up the team responsible for recruiting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, anesthesia assistants & midwives to the MO, OK, AR & KS areas. After twenty years in executive leadership with Mercy and recruiting/overseeing the recruitment of over 1,000 physicians, etc., she "retired" and quickly began a new chapter with her husband, John Abraham, MD, within their clinic, Trinity Healthcare. Most days, she is chasing behind him, and helping implement his many new medical research ideas and the (positive) chaos that follows. She also has a special interest in helping our patients with behavioral medicine. When not assuming those roles, she attempts to keep up with their three children, Lily, Kaeden & Scarlett, who are just as busy (or busier) than their father. Knowing no stranger, she prides herself in finding patients that our modern healthcare system has failed. And, she loves finding new ways to help those around her save time and money.

Darren Chaffee
Darren Chaffee was born in Springfield, MO and grew up in Ava, MO. He moved to Phoenix, AZ at 18 years old to attend school pursuing a technical career and held his first management position at 19 years old. After that 10 year career he decided to move into a career reflecting his passion - health and fitness. Another 10 years into that career he had simultaneously been running a part time business that turned into a full time business in the electronics industry which was another area of interest. Finally deciding to retire from that he moved back to Missouri feeling a longing to be near family again. After a short time he became restless and decided to return to the health and fitness field which had grown dramatically. Now as Dr. Abraham's Wellness Coordinator he enjoys working directly with people to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. When not working he spends time at the gym, or learning about history, streaming the latest hit series or movies, and trying to spread awareness to help children through charity.

Kelly Johnson
Kelly Johnson was born in Tennessee, but moved to Springfield, Missouri at age 12. Since then, Kelly has lived in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, and even the US Virgin Islands, where her daughter was born. Kelly is an active volunteer and foster for Rescue One. She has managed patient care for Trinity Healthcare with Dr. Abraham for the past 18 years and enjoys being a patient advocate and assisting in all facets of their health and wellness. With over 25 years of management experience, Kelly is committed to bringing compassion to others in their development growth professionally, as well as personally. Kelly enjoys traveling with her husband, Jeremy, keeping up with her kids' busy lives, journaling, getting into nature, and Netflix.

Sarah Propst
Sarah Propst was born in Florissant, MO and has been working as a medical assistant and performing phlebotomy for 10+ years. She has many years of experience with various medical procedures including assisting with surgical procedures, removing stitches & staples and ear lavages, to name a few. In her freetime, she enjoys spending time with her husband, and two daughters Breanna, 20 who is going to school to be an EMT and her daughter Allyson, 17 who is in her last year of high school and will be leaving for college in the fall to major in political science. She also enjoys tending to her menagerie of animals, which include five new baby sheep.

John Abraham, MD
Dr Abraham was born in Oklahoma City, OK but was raised in Springfield, MO. After graduating high school, he attended the six-year medical program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and then finished his family medicine residency in 2001. With over 20 years of medical experience, he has been able to experience different aspects of medicine. He has been seen working as an emergency room doctor, operating on spines and other surgeries as well as stitching up kids on soccer fields and basketball courts. So, as you can see, he likes variety! He is passionate about what he does and likes to use his knowledge to help people. He likes to educate his patients and feels that by doing so, he empowers them to take control of their health. He likes a puzzle and being able to get to the root of a problem instead of treating every symptom with a pill. Dr Abraham feels like today’s healthcare system has become more of a business instead of what it was truly designed to do, which is why he has chosen to practice medicine differently. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling with his wife Angie, playing Bananagrams with his daughter Lily, listening to his son Kaeden practice speech and debate and playing Ark with his daughter Scarlett.
